Shipping and Lead Times for our Decorated Cookies
Planning
Your Due Date, Scheduling and Lead Time
Please note
that lead time for your Order begins the business day after we receive
payment. If the paid day is the day before a weekend or Holiday,
your lead time will begin the next available business day.
Lead times listed for our Decorated or Photo Cookies
do not include time in transit. If we list 'one week before
shipping' for a Cookie design, please allow at least 8 business
days to receive your Order.
For example:
If you need your cookies for the 15th
of the month and our Web site lists the lead time as 'one week to
ship', you'd need to have your order in to us by 5th of that month.
We also recommend that you
schedule delivery for your Cookie Order for one to two days before
you will need your cookies. That way, there will be a bit of time
to correct issues if an extra day in transit is needed or if there
is damage to your Order.
If you will be putting
your cookies into gift bags, please use the packing date as your
Due Date, not the Event Date.
While we generally work on weekends,
weekends and Holidays do not count into the lead times for our cookies.
The chart above shows the transit time
across the country from our shipping point in NY for UPS Ground
Service.
Carriers
We use UPS Ground Service for Zones
where the ship time is 1-2 days. We use Express Mail for Zones where
the ground service time is over 2 days. We do not recommend that
our cookies be in transit for more than 2-3 days.
You will receive
a copy of your tracking information from the Shipping Carrier's
Web site as we ship your order. Rolling Pin Productions is not responsible
for malfunctions from these Web sites or from customer's e-mail
programs that may prevent your tracking information from reaching
you.
Expedited
Shipping
If you need your order delivered
in less time than our combined lead/shipping times, we can expedite
the shipping for you.
We use UPS Air
services or Express Mail. Please contact us for a quote for shipping
if you need to expedite your order.
How
we package our Decorated Cookies, Handling Fees
We package our cookies very carefully using bubble
wrap to line our cartons and protect our cookies. As our cookies
require extra care and protection for shipping, a Handling Fee is
included in the Shipping cost. Shipping and Handling charges will
be added to your order prior to billing.
Please note that for additional protection,
Rolling Pin Productions generally does not ship out more than 50
pieces per carton. This is important to note for orders of 100+
pieces.
Rates
Our rates for shipping per carton for the Zone colors Yellow and
Tan shown above is $40.00. Our rates for shipping per carton for
Zone colors Green, Brick Red and Orange is $65.
Please note that one carton holds up
to 50 cookies. We ship all cartons insured or with declared value
noted.
For expedited [non-Ground] service, please
contact us for pricing and carrier options.
Disclaimer
Rolling Pin Productions is not responsible for shipping
delays caused by shipping services, weather or disaster conditions,
or for charges incurred for re-delivery attempts and/or incorrect
address information. If there is a delivery error made by the shipping
company, Rolling Pin Productions will refund the shipping charges
only if the shipping company is passing the refund onto us. Please
see our claims page for information about breakage credit.
Rolling Pin Productions also reserves
the right to use Expedited Services to meet your Due Date if we
are unable to ship by the listed Ship Date on your Order Form. Expedited
Service may not be performed by the same carrier that is listed
on your Order Form.
