Beautiful, unique and delicious, Rolling
Pin Productions Decorated Cookies are rolled and decorated entirely
by hand. We feature designs and shapes that are unique to Rolling
Pin Productions because nearly all of our cookie cutters are made
by us! This combined with our original designs ensures that our
decorated cookies are one-of-a-kind and can be custom made to your
specifications.
What types of
Decorated Cookies do you offer?
Rolling Pin Productions features Decorated Cookies for every occasion,
Custom Made Cookies and Photo Cookies.
Do you sell
your Cookie Cutters?
No, we're sorry but we do not sell our cookie cutters.
Do you sell
or send out Samples?

FLAVORS AND
INGREDIENTS
What types of
Cookie Flavors and Cookie Icing Flavors are available?
We feature Susan's original sugar cookie and buttercream-flavored
royal icing recipes as our standard flavors. We also offer Susan's
chocolate or gingerbread recipes for orders of over 48 pieces. Our
customers constantly tell us that "your decorated cookies taste
as good as they look!"
What
ingredients are in your Decorated Cookies, Photo Cookies and Icing?
Our iced Decorated Sugar Cookies are made of flour, sugar,
baking powder, salt, cream of tartar, butter, eggs, vanilla, pasteurized
egg whites, artificial flavors and colors.
Our iced Decorated Chocolate Cookies are made of flour, sugar,
baking powder, salt, cocoa, cream of tartar, butter, eggs, pasteurized
egg whites, artificial flavors and colors. Orders for Decorated
Chocolate Cookies require a 48 cookie minimum order.
Our iced Decorated Gingerbread Cookies
are made of flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, cream
of tartar, cocoa, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, unsulphered molasses,
butter, pasteurized egg whites, artificial flavors and colors. Orders
for Decorated Gingerbread Cookies require a 48 cookie minimum order.
For our iced Photo Cookies, please add
the following image and edible ink ingredients to the base ingredients
listed above for your flavor:
For our edible Images: water, cornstarch,
corn syrup, corn syrup solids, cellulose, sorbitol, sugar, vegetable
oil, arabic gum, polysorbate 80, citric acid.
For our edible Inks: water, propylene glycol,
glycerins. May contain any or all of the following colors: Red
3, Red 40, Blue 1, Yellow 5, Yellow 6. May also contain any or
all of the following: isopropyl alcohol, polysorbate 80, food
grade silicone emulsion.
Are your Decorated
Cookies and Photo Cookies Kosher?
No, our Decorated Cookies and Photo Cookies are not Kosher.
Do your Decorated Cookies
and Photo Cookies contain nuts?
No, they do not, but we do not recommend that
people with food allergies consume our cookies.
SIZING
What is the average
size of your Decorated Cookies and Photo Cookies?
Sizes for our Decorated Cookies will vary depending upon the design,
but our Standard Sized Decorated Cookies are approximately 4.5"
in one direction and our Mini Sized Decorated Cookies are approximately
3" in one direction. Please click on the cookie images you
see on the pages of our Web site to be sure as to the size for your
particular design if purchasing one of our pre-designed cookies.
Our Photo Cookies vary in size and shape, please

page above for the specific sizes and shapes we are currently offering.
PRICING
What is the
average pricing for your Decorated and Photo Cookies?
Our cookie pricing generally begins at $3.50+ per piece, with $6.50
being the average pricing. Wrapping in a clear Cellophane Bag with
a coordinating Satin Bow is included in the pricing. As prices do
vary, please click on the cookie images you see on the pages of
our Web site to be sure as to the pricing for your particular design.
What is the
average pricing for your Custom Cookies?
Our Custom cookie pricing varies with each order, but the average
starting price is $7.50 per cookie, with a minimum purchase of $150.
Wrapping in a Clear Cellophane Bag with a coordinating Satin Bow
included in the price.
Please note that our pricing for our
Custom Cookies includes the cookies, the image research, cookie
design, wrapping and the making of the cookie cutter. Your Custom
Cookies will be priced a bit higher on average due to these production
additions. Please see the 'custom' page

MINIMUM
ORDERS
What is your
Minimum Order for your Decorated, Custom and Photo Cookies?
There is generally a 24 piece minimum per design per order
for our Decorated Cookies. Please click on the cookie images you
see on the pages of our Web site to be sure as to the quantity minimum
for your particular design.
The minimum order for Photo Cookies
and Custom Cookies is 36 pieces.
Please note that Rolling Pin Productions will work within your budget
where possible, but that a minimum purchase for any Custom Order
is $150.
PAYMENT
TYPES AND TERMS
What types of
payment do you accept?
We take MasterCard, Visa, Debit Cards and Checks. Please notify
us if you will be paying by check.
Payment is expected withing 24 hours
of receipt of your Order Form. Receipt of your Order Form does not
guarantee that your Order is placed. Only paid Orders are put into
our productions schedule, and we book our schedule on a 'first paid'
system.
DESIGN
COPIES
If
we provide the image, do you copy designs from other Cookie Companies?
Under no condition do we ever copy another company's
designs.
I've
seen some of your Cookie Designs on another Web site. Do you sell
your Cookies through other Cookie Companies?
Please note that we do not sell our designs through any other
cookie company.
We frequently see
attempts to copy our original cookie designs and sometimes even
our original photographs and Web site text and policies appearing
on other cookie Web sites. This copying of our work is occuring
without our permission. You are assured of the quality of our original
designs, precise decorating execution and unique flavor only when
you purchase from Rolling Pin Productions or an authorized reseller.
LEAD
TIME
What is your
average Lead Time to ship out an Order?
We require lead time minimum of one week to ship orders of under
100 pieces for our Decorated Cookies, with a lead time of 2 weeks
to ship Photo and Custom Cookie orders. For orders of over 100 pieces,
please contact us for information and scheduling. Please click on
the cookie images you see on the pages of our Web site to be sure
as to the lead time for your particular design.
Is there a
Rush Fee for an expedited Order?
If you will need your Decorated Cookies, Custom Cookies or Photo
Cookies order shipped before the standard lead time for your design,
a Rush Fee will apply. A Rush Fee of 25% will apply to orders that
are requested to be shipped under our required lead time. This is
important to note for the Holiday Season, as our lead times during
that period are very important to our scheduling. Please allow enough
time for us to create your cookies!
PACKAGING/WRAPPING
How are your
Cookies Packaged or Wrapped?
Wrapping in a Clear Cellophane bag and coordinating Satin
Bow is included in the price of our Decorated, Custom and Photo
cookies. Please see our 'wrapping options'
page above for our current selection of ribbon colors and alternate
gift wrapping options for your order.
What Ribbon
Colors do you offer for your Cookies?
Please see our 'wrapping options' page
for our current color selection. Our ribbons are single-faced 5/8"
Satin and we offer a wide range of colors. Our bows are carefully
made and fixed onto our cookies and ensure a crisp, neat and consistent
presentation for your event. You can see examples of our wrapping
throughout the various Portfolios on our Cookie Category pages above.
For orders of over 150 pieces and a one
month lead time, we can custom order ribbon colors.
Do you offer
Printed Ribbons for your Cookies?
Please note that we do not offer printed ribbons for our cookies.
Can I have you use a special ribbon that
I provide for my Cookies?
If you would like us to use ribbon you provide for your order, a
charge of $1.00 per cookie will be assessed to your order and we
will need the ribbon sent to us to cut and assemble.
Do you shrink
wrap your Decorated or Photo Cookies?
Please note that we do not shrink wrap our cookies.
SHELF
LIFE AND CARE
What is the
shelf life of your Decorated or Photo Cookies?
Rolling Pin Productions Decorated Cookies, Custom
Cookies and Photo Cookies have a shelf life of up to 30 days from
baking if kept packaged. For keeping as a special memento, our cookies
will keep intact for years if kept dry, packaged and out of direct
sunlight.
We recommend enjoying
your Decorated Cookies, Custom Cookies and Photo Cookies within
one week of receipt of your Order for best taste.
How
soon after baking do your Decorated and Photo Cookies ship out?
Our orders generally ship out within 24-48 hours of baking, depending
upon the quantity ordered. Orders for our Photo Cookies may require
an additional 24 hours before shipping after printing has been completed.
When
do you recommend our Decorated and Photo Cookies to arrive?
We recommend ordering your Decorated, Custom and Photo Cookies to
arrive one to two days before you'll need them for best taste and
freshness.
What conditions
are best for storing your Cookies until they are used?
You can expect some deterioration in the cookie decoration if moisture
touches the cookie surface. Also, humidity can cause the icing to
darken in spots and the edible images to stick to the wrapping for
Photo Cookies. Please keep your Rolling Pin Productions Decorated
Cookies and especially our Photo Cookies as cool and dry as possible.
Do you recommend
freezing your Cookies to extend their shelf life?
No, we do not recommend freezing our cookies, as condensation during
thawing may damage their appearance. If you do freeze our Decorated
Cookies please thaw them wrapped. Please note that if you do freeze
our Photo Cookies, the images could be damaged during thawing. Rolling
Pin Productions is not responsible for any damage to our cookies
if they are frozen.
IF
YOU HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER
What if I need
to cancel my Decorated, Custom or Photo Cookies Order?
Please see our 'claims' page
link at the bottom of this page for information on our claims policies,
including cancellations. Cancellations will require a fee.
DISCOUNTING
Do you Wholesale
or Discount your Decorated, Custom or Photo Cookies?
We do not currently have a Wholesale program. The only authorized
vendor for our Decorated Cookies at this time is Dean and Deluca.
Due to the handmade nature of our products,
we can provide a nominal discounting for our work beginning at 150+
pieces per design.
SHIPPING
AND CLAIMS
What shipping
method do you use to ship out your Cookies?
We use UPS Ground Service for shipments from the East Coast to the
middle of the United States, and UPS Ground Service or Express Mail
for states nearer to the West Coast.
If you would like us to use an alternate
shipping method for your Decorated or Photo Cookies, please advise
us at the time you place your Order. If you'd like us to use another
carrier, we will ask that you make the arrangements for pickup and
label service, as we do not arrange for transport with other carriers.
Do you ship
outside the United States?
Yes, we ship worldwide. An additional $25 shipping fee will be applied
to all orders with a shipping destination outside of the United
States. Please note that this fee will be in addition to the shipping
and handling charges for your order. Please note that we are not
responsible for customs charges or any additional charges that may
be applied to your order once it leaves our location.
